Course Introduction

The manual handling course helps employers make sure that they and their employees are well-trained in the principles and best practices of safe manual handling.

The course complies with the manual handling operations regulations 1992 (MHOR) and gives essential information and training to help organisations better understand the risks linked to manual handling, how to carry out a risk assessment, how to put the right control measures in place.

Who Should Attend This Course?

This course is suitable for anyone aged 16+. The manual handling course is aimed at employees at all levels who may undertake manual handling operations, including the transporting of a load of items by lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, carrying, manoeuvring, steadying or transporting thereof by hand or by bodily force.
